We partnered with Regional Housing Association, Salford, to deliver a full retrofit programme focused on improving energy efficiency across multiple properties in Salford. Our goal: to lower energy bills, reduce emissions, and enhance day-to-day comfort for residents — all supported by ECO-4.

Project Summary

Challenge: 60 post-war, non-traditional build terrace houses (average EPC F45) presenting severe thermal bridging and high systemic
risks of fuel poverty.

Solution: 9-month project delivered under PAS 2035/2030. Installed 120mm EPS External Wall Insulation (EWI), replaced storage heaters
with Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) via ECO 4 funding, and installed Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV).

Success & Outcomes: Average EPC rating increased from F45 to
C78 (a 33-point increase). Average annual resident energy savings exceeded £700. Achieved a measured 55% reduction in total energy demand, eliminating external condensation risk.

Project Management: Achieved a 98% access rate within the tight
scheduling timeline.
